Fuel cells: Get a sneak preview of the H2REF results!

What will the hydrogen distribution station of the future look like? This question will be answered by the partners of the European project H2REF on 27 February 2020 at 9:00 a.m. Indeed, they have selected this date to reveal their initial findings and conclusions at the premises of Haskel, in Great Britain.

The H2REF project (Development of a cost effective and reliable hydrogen fuel cell vehicle refuelling system) was launched in 2015 to develop a new generation of hydrogen distribution stations with the main challenge of creating a new cost-effective, efficient and reliable high-pressure gas compression and buffering process, based on the use of hydro-pneumatic accumulators.

Funded by the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen 2 Joint Undertaking (FCH 2 JU), H2REF is led by a consortium, jointly headed by Cetim and H2NOVA, which is composed of four European players (Hexagon, Haskel, CCS and LBST), as well as UTC, as a Cetim subcontractor. This initiative, with support from the European Union Horizon 2020 programme and Norway, is focused on the commercial roll-out of hydrogen and fuel cell solutions for energy and transport across Europe.
