Sheet metal straightening
The aim of this coil sheet straightening simulation tool? Predict the flatness of the metal sheet, depending on the work parameters.
This simplified modelling reproduces two steps: the closing of the straightener (Finite Element (FE) calculation) then the metal sheet going through the various rollers (semi‑analytical model).
The selected sheet metal behaviour model is an isotropic strain hardening model. This choice is justified by the fact that obtaining data from the model is simple (tensile test, mathematical approach, etc.).
