Resa: the benefits of Clipper
Through its participation in the collective action “Efficient and sustainable production”, Resa received decision support in selecting an appropriate production management software. With Clipper, it is reaping the expected benefits. Read on to find out how!
“We wanted an efficient and modern production management tool suited to the needs of an SME and which would help to fulfil the traceability requirements of our customers”,explained Thierry Reboul, Deputy General Manager at Resa. “The collective action “Efficient and sustainable production” (Production performante et durable - PPD), coordinated by Cetim, gave us the opportunity to take advantage of support from an outside expert to cut through the ‘jungle’ of CAPM software on the market, to select one and implement it in the Company”.
“Clipper has been in operation for more than six months and has allowed us to integrate our five technical databases, shorten our component and raw material receipt-storage process by more than a week, accelerate the management of our internal warehouse and dramatically improve visibility of our procurement needs”.
Through the meetings and workshops organised around various topics (FMECA, 5S, etc.), the PPD action proved to be “an especially rich melting pot”.
