“One ortho”, winner of the world innovation 2030 competition
One Ortho, the Saint-Etienne start-up created a few months ago by Christophe Alepée, was amongst the 110 winners of the world innovation 2030 competition. The innovator who previously took part in Cetim’s UPDP – Fadiperf, also won a 200,000-euro grant to a digital channel to design and manufacture, via 3D printing, tailor-made joint implants and surgical instruments. The start-up intends to start marketing the products in mid-2015 and expects to achieve a sales turnover of 5 million euros by 2018 with approximately twenty employees.
