Metrologists from across the world to meet up in Paris

The international Metrology congress will be held on 19 to 21 September 2017 in Paris (France). For its 18 th edition, this congress will feature the latest developments in measurement techniques and R&D breakthroughs with implications for industry and will also demonstrate how measurement improves industrial processes and risk management.

The agenda of this year’s forum of exchange between industrial manufacturers and scientists will include conferences, panel discussions and exhibitions of measuring technologies and solutions. The panel discussions will give rise to debates on surveillance drones, declarations of conformity and the changes to ISO 17025 and dynamic measurements. Other topics of interest will be the progress made in nanoscale measurements, metrology in the pharmaceutical industry, as well as water quality measurements.

The International Metrology Congress is organised by the Collège Français de Métrologie in partnership with the Direction générale des entreprises (General Directorate of Companies), the Measurement network and Trescal, a world leader in metrology.
