The annual Cetim report for 2016 is out!
Cetim has entirely revised its annual report. The new version includes 50 pages of clear and relevant information on the “Centre technique des industries mécaniques” (Technical centre for mechanical industries), its results and key actions over the past year.
Various events occurred for Cetim during 2016. To begin with, it celebrated its 50th anniversary. The Centre then launched a new, more digital, era. This is the message carried by the annual report for 2016, now available for download from the Cetim website, under the "Cetim/presentation" section.
Corporate information and exemplary actions
This fully- revised, modern and well-spaced, annual report focuses on the governance of the leading French CTI (Centre Technique Industriel - Centre for industrial techniques), whose Carnot label was renewed for the third time in 2016, on its key figures for the past year, dominated by 112.1 million euros in turnover and 18 patents filed - A historical record! –, and on its "to the future" drive.
This 50-page reference document covers the high points of 2016 based on four key topics for the coming years: the industry of the future, shared initiatives, innovation and an international policy. The report describes the involvement of the Centre in the industry of the future and its deployment at French SME level, its shared initiatives within the French mechanics community, and its driving role in the adoption of new technologies, such as metal additive manufacturing, in particular. A selection of exemplary actions carried out in 2016 also reflect the Centre’s support for innovation, particularly as part of co-development with promising start-ups or preparation for frontline techniques such as cryogenic machining assistance, and its international commitment, from Morocco to south east Asia, not forgetting the United States.
