Industrial revitalisation: a central topic in the presidential debate
The French Federation of the Mechanical Industries (FIM), the Union of Textile Industries (UIT), the Group of Industrial Federations (GFI) and the Union of Intermediate-Sized Businesses (METI) have invited presidential election candidates to discuss the topic of industrial revitalisation.
The future of the French industry and of our economy will be at stake in the five years to come. with this in mind, the French Federation of the Mechanical Industries (FIM), the Union of Textile Industries (UIT), the Group of Industrial Federations (GFI) and the Union of Intermediate-Sized Businesses (METI) have come together to organise discussions on 28 February 2017 (in the morning) as part of the presidential election campaign, on the following topic: “Industrial revitalisation: now or never!”.
Economists, industrial manufacturers and representatives of the 3 main candidates for the presidential election will take part in this debate, organised at “Maison de la Mécanique” (La Défense, France). The conference will also be attended by the following individuals: Elizabeth Ducottet, deputy chairwoman of Meti, Bruno Grandjean, Chairman of FIM, Yves Dubief, Chairman of the Tenthorey Group and of the Union of Textile Industries, Denis Ferrand, General Manager of the COE-Rexcode Institute, Sarah Guillou, Deputy Manager of the French Organisation for Economic Crisis Analysis and Henri Morel, Chairman of the Dom Security Group and member of the FIM management committee.
