Fatigue in a mechanical vibratory environment
This study was conducted upon request from Cetim’s committees: “Public works, quarrying, mining, drilling and building construction equipment”, “Agricultural machinery” and “Handling-lifting and storing equipment”. It makes a detailed presentation of the usual experimental vibration fatigue approach and describes associated numerical methods.
The aim is to accelerate the design and validation of components and structures operating in a mechanical vibratory environment. These methods are then implemented as part of an overall dimensioning approach on two industrial cases: a particle filter support for work machinery and an alternator compressor for agricultural machinery.
