Bibliographic survey of the behaviour of metallic and elastomeric materials in ethanol
The aim of this bibliographic study is to take a comprehensive look at the research work already conducted concerning the corrosion of metallic and elastomeric materials in contact with a water/ethanol mixture in various pressure and temperature conditions. The collected data and trends (summarised in two tables) should help Engine Manufacturers to better choose materials to be tested and the testing environments for the implementation of the “Rankine Cycle” technology.
