Cetim has been offering for more than 30 years composite material applications in substitution to metal structures in order to meet the market needs in lighter structures and in reduction of carbon emission (by reduction of equipment consumption due to weight gain…).

In this context and in response to the hydraulic transmission equipment manufacturer committee demand, Cetim undertook a research and technological program to demonstrate the feasibility of a pneumatic accumulator envelope in composite material. This particular equipment is loaded under cyclic pressure up to 300 bars this equipment and the specification of the committee is to have a burst pressure of 900 bars.
