Digitalisation: success stories of leading manufacturers.
The future of industry is dependent on Digitalisation. In order to address the key issues of the future, digital transformation can and must be taken into account at each stage of the industrial development of a product. Although this transformation is well underway in many major corporations, the situation is very different in small, medium and intermediate sized companies. To expedite the implementation of the digitalisation process in these smaller structures, on 5 April 2019 at the Maison de la Mécanique (Courbevoie, France), the Digitalisation Committee of the FIM (Fédération des industries mécaniques– Association of mechanical engineering industries) has invited two leading players to speak about their vision and approach to the digitalisation of the industry: François de la Fontaine, Director of the Factory of the future project at Safran and Pascal Brosset, EVP & CTO Digital Manufacturing at Cap Gemini.
As a member of the Industry of the Future Alliancere, Cetim has been working with FIM alongside manufacturers across France to support their digital transformation. Watch our Zoom and Testimonials videos in the Industry of the future playlist on the Cetim FranceYoutube channel.
