Digital technology used to validate products at Corin Group.
50% less development time and cost reduced by 60%! Corin Group recorded significant savings by leveraging on digital methods and the multi-disciplinary expertise of Cetim when validating the design of its new hip implant models! In particular, the manufacturer of medical devices wanted to check, by calculation, that its new design options fell within the criteria laid down in standard ASTM F2996-13 and take into consideration in the fatigue calculations, the voluntary product surface irregularities. As a result “we were able to validate the reliability of our new designs in one and a half months”, stated Eric Renault, Head of R&D at Corin Group.
