2018 Training Catalogue: rise to future challenges!

Cetim’s 2018 training catalogue is now available. The catalogue includes 350 sector-based training sessions, including one dedicated to the industry of the future, with inter alia its new additive manufacturing, robotization and non-destructive testing technologies.

Cetim has entirely revised its training courses for 2018. The goal is to be closely attuned to the requirements of the companies and the technological and normative development that is currently underway in the industrial world. Therefore, the 2018 training catalogue is presented in a new sector-based format with 350 job training courses conducted across France to enable engineers and technicians to increase their knowledge in a given mechanical engineering field.

New courses for current needs

Cetim’s training courses have now been broken down based on seven sectors: materials and surfaces, design, production, control-measurement-test, maintenance, quality-health-safety-environment and industry of the future. With regard to the industry of the future, manufacturers will be able to choose from forty training sessions relating to simulation, modelling, additive manufacturing, robotization and assembly technologies, innovative non-destructive tests, energy efficiency and eco-design among others.

Not only does the new formula provide certification training in three dimensional measurement, eligible for funding under the CPF (compte personnel de formation –personal training account), it also introduces a new feature: five specialist courses to gradually acquire a given level of competence in a specific field. Finally, the catalogue itself has been modernized. As a result, with its “interactive” digital version, the user can move from the generic sector courses page to the page of the selected training course in only a few clicks.

Presentation

With the Information System, every actor of a project can be internally interconnected. This system supports the firm's activity and set up skills and knowledge, which thus can be easily accessed and used. On a technological level, a codesign of objects compels all suppliers to be implied in the creation of a usually virtual prototype before it is actually manufactured. Concerning management, it deals with defining or redefining firm strategy and improving its performances.
This technological orientation includes projects relating to knowledge and skill management, industrial performance and extended enterprise management.
