Cetim will be present in all events at Global Industrie 2019
From 5 to 8 March in Lyon (France), visitors to the 2019 edition of Global Industriewill be able to meet Cetim and take a look at its offers on four dedicated spaces.
This 2019 edition of Global Industrie will be an unprecedented event! For the first time, it will combine four major professional trade fairs in Lyon, the Gaul capital, from 5 to 8 March: Industrie, the exhibition dedicated to production technologies and equipment; Midest, the showcase of all skills in industrial subcontracting; Smart Industries, the rendez-vous point for players of the connected, collaborative and efficient industry; and Tolexpo, the trade fair dedicated to metal working (sheet, coil, tube and sections).
Several accesses to Cetim’s competences
During this event which will gather 2,500 exhibitors and trademarks over 110,000 m² of surface area, Cetim will give the expected 45,000 visitors many opportunities to discover its offers and competences. On Stand No. 4N125, Cetim will present its offer dedicated to helping industrial companies to change and enter the digital era, namely a comprehensive range of technological, partnership and financial engineering solutions proposed in collaboration with Siemens. On their joint stand named “Place de la Mécanique”(4H90), Cetim and FIMwill showcase the actions implemented with the French regions to promote the deployment of the industry of the future within the French territories. FIMand Cetim are also partners in the “Elles bougent”operation and the “Faux fuyons !”exhibition (stand 2A57), the latter being aimed at making industrial companies aware of the risks related to counterfeit goods.
Cetim will also be present, via Cetim Grand Est, on the CCI Grand Est space at Midest2019. Among other things, Cetim will show its skills in advanced in-line monitoring by infrared thermography and in the testing of the elemental chemical composition of materials by Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (Libs).
Conferences on key subjects of the Industry of the future
In the conference space No. 1 of Smart Industries exhibition (hall 4.2), Cetim’s experts will chair and take part to several keynote speeches, conferences and round table meetings on the hot topics of the industry of tomorrow. On the agenda: “The IOTin the industry”, “What new Business Models to consider?”, or “Upgrade your production workshop to 4.0”.
Note that, as part of the “Industry 4.0 international days Conference”organised by Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Entreprises, Cetim will also chair a conference (in English) on 6 March 2019 at 10:30 a.m. (Stand No. 5B88) on the following subject: “Techno 4.0: Additive Manufacturing, Robotics, Connected Factory, Artificial Intelligence…”.

With product modelling and simulation potential solutions can be virtually optimized before they are really implemented. We tend to set up a more efficient design by taking fatigue life into account and optimizing safety factors within a fiabilist approach. The main goal is to achieve much shorter development deadlines. Major improvements are experienced in the field of simulation dealing with more and more complex and multi-physical phenomena.
This technological focus includes projects relating to : fiabilist design of products, functional requirement and performance qualification checking, analysis methods based on customer needs, design of clean and silent products, simulation of product behavior and operation.
