Global industry conferences 2018 : mark your calendars !
Conférences Flash Midest, testimonies on “Industry of the future” approaches. Take note of these key events at the Global Industrie show
According to the organizers of Global Industrie 2018 (from 27-30 March,at the Parc des Expositions, Paris Nord Villepinte), “An event of this scope deserves an ambitious, exciting conference program, reflecting the industry of today and preparing for the industry of tomorrow…”
And it is with this high standard in mind that Cetim has met the challenge. With the Flash Midest conferences, which address themes such as non-destructive testing or material resistance, along with collaborative robotics and workstation ergonomics. These Flash conferences (30 minutes) are designed to be user-friendly, combining presentations and question/answer sessions, daily from Wednesday to Friday.
On March 29, at the close of the afternoon, the Smart Industries TV platform will host « Parcours Industrie du futur » or Industry of the Future Backgrounds. What do a startup offering customized products at industrial prices, a very small luxury firm breaking into additive manufacturing, a vibrating jar specialist ready for 4.0 and an SME using robotics as a lever for change, all have in common? An exemplary industry of the future background! The actors in these companies highlight key issues such as the place of man, reorganization, and financing, among other things. This event is followed by a cocktail hour and a sports event at “Place de la mécanique” (the role of mechanics) stand, run by FIM and Cetim.
The complete details will be available soon at: site of Global Industrie 2018.

With product modelling and simulation potential solutions can be virtually optimized before they are really implemented. We tend to set up a more efficient design by taking fatigue life into account and optimizing safety factors within a fiabilist approach. The main goal is to achieve much shorter development deadlines. Major improvements are experienced in the field of simulation dealing with more and more complex and multi-physical phenomena.
This technological focus includes projects relating to : fiabilist design of products, functional requirement and performance qualification checking, analysis methods based on customer needs, design of clean and silent products, simulation of product behavior and operation.
