A new edition of the Measurement Days
The second edition of the “National Measurement Days” (“Journées nationales de la mesure”) will take place in Lyon (France) on 24 and 25 June 2014. Best practices and accurate measurement will be the main subjects.
This second edition of the “National Measurement Days”, organised by the Collège français de métrologie (CFM) and supported by A+ Métrologie, Bea Métrologie, Cetiat and Implex, aims to present a set of skills and best practices so that measurements are as “accurate” as possible!
All the stakeholders involved in the production channel, from the design office to final inspection, including maintenance, quality and metrology, are also invited to take part in this two-day debate (24 and 25 June 2014) on the economic relevance of “accurate” measurement, risk control and productivity gains allowed by metrology.
The agenda will include technical reminders concerning climatic and dimensional data, the flow-meter industry, chemical and biological analyses, electricity, measurement and electromagnetic compatibility, air quality, etc.
Practical measuring exercises (atelier “Graines de mesure”) will be implemented: climatic chambers, sensors, influence of equipment and the environment, measurement of significant lengths, measurement of small and medium dimensions, liquid and gas flow rate measurements, spectrophotometry, weighing, pipette, crosstalk, noise and sensitivity, antennas and effects of radiation, particle counting, measurement in clean rooms, etc.
