CTI performance takes centre stage at Bercy
On 21 June 2016, Emmanuel Macron, French Minister of the Economy, Industry and the Digital sector, and Clotilde Valter, Secretary of State for Professional training and Apprenticeship, invited the representatives of “Centres techniques industriels” - CTI (Industrial technical centres) to Bercy to sign their new performance contracts. This provided an opportunity to remind them of their essential role in terms of innovation and economic development.
On 21 June 2016, the members of the network of “Centres Techniques Industriels” – CTIs (Industrial technical centres) were invited to the Ministry of the Economy, Industry and the Digital sector at Bercy, to sign their new performance contracts. These contracts are renewed every four years between the State, professional organisations and industrial technical centres, and lay down full-scale strategic roadmaps for CTIs.
On this occasion, Emmanuel Macron, French Minister of the Economy, Industry and the Digital sector and Clotilde Valter, Secretary of State for Professional training and Apprenticeship, described the key role of CTIs as part of industrial policy and their contributions to the competitiveness of companies. This event was organised for the first time at the auditorium of the Ministry in Bercy by the CTI network and demonstrated the decisive role played by technical centres in promoting innovation by companies and thereby contributing to economic development.
An exhibition aiming to illustrate the actions and achievements of the CTIs with companies, based on real life examples, is currently being held in the Hall of the Ministry. This exhibition was opened by the Minister on 21 June 2016 following the colloquium and will remain open until 5 July 2016.
