The seventh “Rendez-vous Carnot” will take place on 8 and 9 October 2014 in Lyons (France)
“Rendez-vous Carnot“, the main convention for research and development for companies, will open its gates again in Lyons, France, on 8 and 9 October 2014. Organised by the Association des instituts Carnot with the support of the Grand Lyon and the Rhône-Alpes regions, these business conventions welcome approximately 2,600 visitors every year. In addition to the “Rendez-vous”, for which registration is to be done on-line on www.rdv-carnot.com, a programme of conferences is also scheduled. These conferences will deal with subjects such as: prospective visions and responses to the major technological and economic challenges; statements of partnership between public institutions and private companies in the field of research and innovation; experience feedback regarding innovation support schemes available to small and medium companies. The Fieec (French federation of electrical, electronic and communications industries) will award the prize of applied research. The purpose of this prize is to encourage close cooperation between researchers working in public institutions and small and medium companies by rewarding researchers whose projects made it possible to reinforce the activities of these companies.
