The construction site of the Technocentre project has started in Cluses.
Construction work for the Technocentre project began on 13 December 2017 at the Cetim-Ctdec site, in Cluses, France. The building and its technical equipment represent a budget of approximately 12 million Euros co-funded by Europe, the French government, the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, the County Council of Haute-Savoie, the Federation of the municipalities Arve et Montagne, Cetim-Ctdec and the French Bar Turning Association (SNDEC). When it opens in a little under two years’ time, this resource and expertise centre aims to become an international benchmark for the bar turning, machining and mechanical engineering industry. One of its goals is to enhance the industrial attractiveness of instructing parties and future talents.
The future name of the resource and expertise centre will be unveiled during the 1 st quarter of 2018. Cetim-Ctdec and SNDEC are inviting industrial manufacturers to attend Simodec, which will be held from 6 to 9 March 2018, to discover the construction mock-up and to learn more about the project.
