Regulatory energy audit: deadline on 5 December 2015.
According to Article 8 of European directive 2012/27, all companies with more than 250 employees or which record an annual turnover of more than EUR 50 million or a total balance sheet of more than EUR 43 million must carry out or commission an energy audit. This audit must be carried out no later than 5 December 2015 (Decree 2013 1121 transposing the directive into French law and applicable as from 1 July 2014).
In addition to compliance with European regulatory requirements, significant gains on production costs can be achieved at the time of this audit. Cetim’s approach, proposed in accordance with the requirements of standard EN 16247 will allow companies to turn this requirement into a real source of leverage with regard to corporate performance. It will help them to better enhance the value of the initiative in the eyes of public authorities and energy service providers.
