Normandie Aeroespace is welcoming its hundredth member
Fifteen years after its creation in 1998, the NAE (Normandie Aeroespace) network of Norman stakeholders in the fields of aeronautics, space, defence and safety, is welcoming its hundredth member. This sector currently includes 5 airports including one airbase, 16 major industrial companies, 6 research laboratories, 9 academic partners as well as 64 leading-edge SMIs and intermediate companies.
This grouping is useful to its members since these companies, as a whole, have hired 700 employees and their cumulated turnover has increased by 17 %. Most of these companies whose aeronautical turnover is growing, are experiencing, de facto, a rise of their overall turnover as well.
