Join the industry of the future at the Siane 2016 trade fair
For its 12 th edition in Toulouse, from 18 to 20 October 2016, Siane is focusing on the industry of the future. In particular, Tuesday 18 was chosen as the "event day of the "Industry of the Future Caravane in region", in the presence of Philippe Darmayan, Chairman of the "Industry of the Future" Alliance (AIF), Carole Delga, President of the Occitanie / Pyrénées-Méditerranée region (Occitan country, Pyreneans, Mediterranean), Pascal Mailhos, Regional Prefect, Alain Di Crescenzo, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Toulouse, and Christian Desmoulins, Regional AIF Ambassador. A representation of the industry of the future (stand 4H14) is also available at the trade fair. It is organised with the support of AIF and brings together solution demonstrations and testimonies from companies already involved in a course of action to modernise their production tools.
On 18 October and throughout the trade fair, many lectures will address the key topics of the industry of the future. For instance, on 20 October at 10 a.m., Francis Jutand, the Deputy General Manager of the Mines Institute, will talk about "joint man-machine evolution in the digital era" and, at 3 p.m., Cetim, Technofi, Mecanic Vallée and Greenovate will present: "Energy efficiency in the Industry of the Future - Memam European Programme".
This year again, Cetim is Siane's partner. Cetim experts will be available on stand 4L26 to answer visitors’ questions, particularly on two key topics for the industry of the future: robotics and additive manufacturing.
