Innovation on video with Cetinnov

Cetinnov was developed on the premise of making it possible to go from concept to industrial development and has thereby allowed many companies to design or redesign their products on entirely new bases. These principles and the underlying methodology can be discovered through this new video featuring a step-by-step outline from the birth of an idea to its implementation.

The method is based on the “design to cost” approach and involves three phases. Firstly, specifying the need by reformulating the problem, incorporating marketing and commercial data, quantifying the goals (price, weight, cost, etc.) and breaking down the product into components. Secondly, identifying solutions without limiting the search field. Thirdly, summarising and classifying all these solutions in order to analyse the advantages and drawbacks and measure the achieved gains. The governing principle is to try everything, to dare and a few companies such as Self Climat MorvanSuprameca and Shiseido have adhered to these principles and translated them into innovation.
