GEA France receives regulatory compliance training to enhance customer satisfaction.
In the agrifood sector, there are very strict obligations regarding the materials or articles suitable for food contact. “At all times, our customers must be able to substantiate the regulatory compliance of their equipment (cutting or packaging machines, baking ovens, fryers) and their spare parts, such as elastomer joints that come in contact with food”, stated Franck Delbart, Quality, Health, Safe and Environment (QHSE) Manager at GEA France, a major equipment supplier in this sector. “In order to adequately meet their demands, we tasked Cetim with creating a specific training course in this area, applied to our equipment and the specific needs of our customers.” Therefore, the centre developed a one-day training course designed for a broad audience of designers, quality managers and sales representatives. The training session had two major advantages: “It allowed us to increase our skills regarding the support that we are able to provide to our customers as well as create a direct link with Cetim’s experts”, added Franck Delbart.
