Fatigue Design 2017: the call for papers has been launched
The preliminary phases of the Fatigue Design 2017 congress have begun. The call for papers on “innovative design approaches and scientific breakthroughs for extending the service life of mechanical components and equipment, in particular those centred on industrial applications” has been launched. Applicants must submit a summary of their paper to the scientific committee by 16 December 2016.
Amongst the topics addressed during this seventh edition of the conference / exhibition which will be held in Senlis (France) on 29 and 30 November 2017, special focus will be placed on the relationship between additive manufacturing and fatigue. For the second time, the organisation committee has also decided to dedicate the conference to the scientific community of one particular country; after the USA in 2015, this year’s partner country will be Italy.
All articles selected by Fatigue Design 2017 will be published on the ScienceDirect website via Elsevier Procedia for better dissemination and international exposure. The number of downloads of Fatigue Design 2015 articles from the Elsevier Procedia website stood at over 35,000, after 6 months, with an average of 400 downloads per article.
Applicants may submit a proposal to the www.fatiguedesign.org website. The reservation and sponsoring form is also available on the conference website.
