Energy efficiency of pumps: the Europump guide has been released!
The “Assessing the Energy Efficiency of Pumps and Pump Units: Background and Methodology” guide is now available (www.europump.net). This reference manual was drawn up by Professor Bernd Stoffel from the University of Darmstadt and is based on the work financed by Europump (European association of pump manufacturers which brings together national associations including Profluid). The contents of the guide cover the regulatory context, the method of calculating the minimum energy efficiency index (MEI), the semi-analytic model based on mathematic calculations and tests.
