Discover the industry of the future in Lyons!
An ambitious agenda has been set for the “Industrie Lyon” tradeshow 2017. As a matter of fact, during this new edition to take place in Lyons from 4 to 7 April 2017, many events and shows dedicated to “the Industry of the Future” have been planned, such as Labo Industrie, jointly organised with FIM, Symop, Cetim, CEA Tech, GL Events and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alps regional agency. Key technologies of the future will be showcased at stand 4D139,, in the form of testimonials from industrial manufacturers, start-up presentations and concrete demonstrations, based on four topics: Connected objects and industrial Internet, advanced production technologies, new “”man at work” approach as well as connected, controlled and enhanced lines and cells. It includes the Vapérail connected screw, the ergonomic brazing station which uses an Einea collaborative robot, as well as a Cetim-Ctdec flexible robotised cell, etc. Specific focuses on additive manufacturing, collaborative robotics and cybersecurity are also scheduled. Cetim will also be at stand 4D140 with FIM and Symop.
In the same area, the tradeshow also includes several “villages” dedicated to 3D printing, industrial design, smart electronics, corporate strategy and development. Some twenty industrial start-ups will also be gathered in a “start-up” village.
It is worth noting that the “Ambition industrie du futur” regional day (“Ambition for the industry of the future”), organised by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alps regional agency, will also take place at Industrie Lyon this year, as well as the “European mechatronics meeting 2017” organised by Thésame. For the first time, the Smile Lyon operation (Industrial jobs and companies tradeshow), intended for secondary school pupils to discover mechanical engineering jobs and the world of mechanical engineering, will also be part of the tradeshow. This operation was launched in 2009 under the impetus of Syndicat national du décolletage (French national bar turning trade union).
