Cetim and the CRIQ renew their collaborative commitment.
Good news for the French SMEs wishing to sell their machines in North America and the Quebec companies eyeing the European market: Cetim and the Quebec Centre of industrial research (CRIQ) have renewed their commitment to work together in the export area. On 7 March 2018, in connection with the 20 th rotating meeting of the Prime Ministers of France and Quebec, held in Paris (France), Emmanuel Vieilliard, CEO of Cetim and Denis Hardy, CEO of CRIQ signed the renewal of a cooperation agreement in this area in the presence of the Quebec Primer Minister, Philippe Couillard.
This signature renews an agreement signed in December 2005 between two organisations which share similar roles and is aimed at “facilitating the access to the rules and procedures surrounding the export of products to their respective territories, in particular by introducing the other party to experts of the target export sector”. With the ever-changing technical and economic context, this agreement is more relevant than ever, in particular with respect to the regulations and standards regarding the environment, pressure equipment and rotating machines.
