Video: techno zoom on the industry of the future – advanced NDTs
Advanced non-destructive tests are one of the key technologies of the industry of the future. This video presents their contribution to the transformation of companies to meet the great challenges of tomorrow’s society, in an informative and educational way.
The world changes, so does the industry. It is time for all the stakeholders of the industrial supply chain to embark on the path towards the industry of the future: to review their position in value chains, their organisations and their work methods, to meet the great challenges of today’s society and its on-going changes.
This transformation of companies involves inter alia using the key technologies of the industry of the future. As part of its mission, i.e. the implementation of the Government’s plan with SMEs within the “Alliance Industrie du Futur” (Industry of the Future Alliance), Cetim offers these SMEs the opportunity to learn about several of these key technologies in “techno zooms”, for instance with this video concerning advanced non-destructive tests (NDTs): tomography, multi-element ultrasonic and active thermography testing, which, when used, notably make it possible, to share a reliable digital image for a product or an equipment item to guarantee quality and traceability.
