Video meetings 5.0 – Energy: exploring the heart of deep offshore boreholes!
Future energy production will not necessarily result from the sun and wind. In fact, during her speech in the " Rencontres 5.0" ("Meetings 5.0"), the closing ceremony of Cetim's 50 th anniversary held on 5 July 2016 in Bercy, Stéphanie Abrand insisted on the fact that "Developing renewable energies is critical and essential, but fossil energies are still necessary to complement the energetic offer". Throughout this video, Saipem's R&D manager makes a detailed presentation of the latest developments of her company specialising in deep offshore drilling. Especially, she meets a tough challenge: making us dream by talking about oil within eight minutes!
