Industry of the Future video testimonial: Certification is opening up doors for GMP-Atim
GMP-Atim, an SME located in Isère (France), is about to make its dream a reality through its access to ISO 13485 certification by transitioning from the aerospace sector to the medical sector or rather by fulfilling orders from medical players as it is already doing in the aerospace industry. It shares its story in a new video “Témoignage Industrie du future” (Industry of the Future Testimonial) posted on the Cetim France Youtube channel.
As a specialist in high precision mechanical engineering for the aerospace, nuclear, robotics and energy industries, the company accordingly benefited from the AmbitionPME plan (SME Ambition, formerly Performance PME (SME Performance) sponsored by the Auvergne Rhône Alpes region. This initiative provides financial support to companies for development projects in various areas, including ISO 13485 certification.
Following several preparation meetings, “we received assistance from consultants who came directly to our facilities to help us put everything in place. They provided coaching on how to resolve our problems and our issues”, recalled Henri Carmona, CEO of the company. “This allowed us to prepare what needed to be prepared.”
GMP-Atim is in the final stretch. A recent audit has updated the few obstacles on its path to achieving the success which will allow its customers to confidently place their orders with the company.
As part of its mission to implement the government plan for SMEs within the Industry of the Future Alliance, Cetim produces video testimonials regarding the exemplary nature of some SME experiences. These 3-minute videos cover the issues, solutions implemented and the results obtained.
