Inauguration of the Cetim-Ctdec Centre in Cluses (France)

On Friday 17 April 2015, Cetim-Ctdec Chairman Pierre Lathuille, Cetim-Ctdec General Manager Thierry Guillemin and Cetim General Manager Philippe Choderlos de Laclos present the strategy of the new Cetim-Ctdec associated centre which is now part of the Cetim alliance.

The meeting held in Cluses (France) on Friday 17 April 2015 for the inauguration of Cetim‑Ctdec, a centre associated to Cetim, is geared around two main themes: union and innovation. Cetim‑Ctdec becomes simultaneously a centre for R&D work, a proximity centre for the many local mechanical engineering companies and a centre of expertise for bar turning professionals. Cetim‑Ctdec Chairman Pierre Lathuille, Cetim‑Ctdec General Manager Thierry Guillemin and Cetim General Manager Philippe Choderlos de Laclos, present the Centre’s strategy. Three round tables are scheduled: “From the origins of the alliance to the new strategy”; “Pooled competences for improved performance” and “A wide range of offers to provide assistance tailored to your needs”.

Cetim‑Ctdec plays an important part in the bar turning and mechanical engineering industry at a national level and employs almost 60 persons in its site in Cluses, Haute-Savoie, at the heart of the Arve Valley, which gathers many subcontracting companies specialised in precision mechanics and bar turning. Cetim‑Ctdec is a member of the Cetim alliance, just as the other associated centres. The alliance gathers approximately 1,000 people on 8 sites and covers all trades in the mechanical engineering sector.
