Get Atep to help you prepare for ISO 14001:2015
ISO 14001:2015 “Environmental management systems – Requirements with guidance for use” is available on the Afnor and ISO websites. Cetim’s Atep tool is an excellent way to initiate this revision.
The 2015 version of ISO 14001 – Environmental management systems can now be downloaded from the Afnor and ISO websites. The standard puts great store in the consideration of environmental requirements in the design of products and addresses environmental aspects from a life-cycle perspective. Organisations will have a three-year transition period as from publication of the new version to align their environmental management systems on the revisions that have been made to the standard.
Cetim’s “Atep” tool provides companies with just the solution needed to help them prepare for this transition. Atep can be downloaded free of charge by members from the Cetim.fr website, “Mécathèque” section, and allows users to implement the eco-design approach, initiated by Cetim, in accordance with standard NF E 01-005 and CEN/TS 16524 “Eco-design of mechanical products: Methodology for reduction of environmental impacts in product design and development”. It now incorporates the product life-cycle concept.
