Cetim, a winner at JEC Americas 2015

For the first time at the JEC Americas fair in Houston, Cetim received a “Jec Innovation Award” for the layup module of the high-speed composite pilot line (the QSP module or Quilted Stratum Process). Click here to watch a video on the process.

And they’ve done it! On Tuesday 2 June 2015, Cetim, represented by Christophe Champenois and Clément Callens, received the “Jec Innovation Award” for the QSP (Quilted Stratum Process) module. This module received financing of 4.8 million Euros from Cetim and the Pays-de-la-Loire region and is dedicated to the layup of composite parts. It is located at the Technocampus Composites site in Nantes and forms part of the high speed composite pilot line made in partnership with IRT Jules Verne. The QSP is based on a patented technology that stems from scientific work conducted with the Comp’Innov and Onera laboratory, and developed with three French mechanical engineering companies specialised in production processes: PEI Pinette, Compose and Loiretech.
