QSP ®: A new composite solution for more added value

Two years ago, in collaboration with the partners of its Comp-Innov shared laboratory, which gathers the École Centrale de Nantes, Université de Nantes, École Nationale Supérieure de Cachan and CNRS, Cetim presented its areas of innovation based on composite materials.

We invite you to meet us in 2015 for a presentation of the results of an innovative breakthrough which allows composite parts to be industrialised in medium- and large-sized series at a low cost.

In a competitive market where steel costs less than one euro per kilogramme, it is possible to industrialise composite materials at a low cost by:

- designing and manufacturing parts with a new approach,

- adapting to high-performance materials whose imperfections have to be taken into account.

These two areas will be the main themes of our technical day which will end with a demonstration of the QSP®high-speed thermoplastic composite pilot line which is now fully operational and located in Cetim’s composite workshop on the Technocampus Composites site.
