Thermal insulation of food refrigeration equipment

As regulations on energy consumption are becoming more strict, refrigeration manufacturers are required to identify the most efficient materials in terms of thermal insulation. An inventory of the insulation options intended for the food refrigeration sector was therefore prepared. Traditional insulation, superinsulation and vacuum insulation panels were all examined, with the vacuum panels receiving specific attention as they have been identified by manufacturers as having very good thermal resistance.
