Fretting corrosion during rod-bearing bush contact
This summary outlines all the work carried out in cooperation with the Laboratory of tribology and surface dynamics (LTDS) of the École Centrale Lyon on the rod-bearing bush contact in industrial engines and failure analysis of these components.
The work consisted of two main phases:
- Technological tests representative of the real contact on specimens,
- Finite element modelling of these tests.
