Efficiency of kitchen range hood filters - Tests
In view of allowing manufacturers of filtration hoods to communicate the efficiency of the filters using more than just the reference (deemed non-representative of the air filtration extracted in professional kitchens), a study (S1938) was designed to propose a French test protocol after exploring an accelerated clogging solution, followed by a specific efficiency test. Tests were therefore performed on four types of filters along with three series of dust clogging tests.
