Deburring and finishing with robots

Currently the particularly time-consuming tasks of deburring and finishing of parts are performed manually, either internally or through subcontracting. Industrial actors are therefore looking for efficient (in terms of quality and accuracy) technical solutions that already exist or can be developed. The study (S1944) carried out showed that there are no, or very few turnkey solutions for use directly on robots. There are existing solutions that can be adapted, once they are mastered to meet a dimensional standard, that will make it possible in the short and medium term to carry out certain operations using robots that up until now have been performed on machinery Tools.
