International conference on fatigue design

The fourth Fatigue Design 2011 conference aims to present the most recent design approaches and tools, through contributions focussed on industrial applications.

Themes
Themes selected concern the various aspects of fatigue design, notably :

  • measurement techniques and assessment tools for stress in operating conditions,
  • numerical modelling and post-processing tools,
  • experimental validation and simulation test systems and methods,
  • new design methods for welded structures,
  • experimental validation methodologies and accelerated tests,
  • fatigue design in vibratory environment,
  • reliability-based approaches of fatigue design,
  • modelling of fatigue cracking under complex loading,
  • research for lightening of structures using low density materials (light alloys, composite materials),
  • in-service strength assessment of multimaterial assemblies.
